First off, I am sorry if you have lost a pet. Unfortunately, it is a reality of life, there is death. However, what if you could immortalize your pet, who has moved on to the afterlife. There is a woman by the name of Erika Dotter who quit her job as a public relations manager to paint pictures of dead animals (and even ones who are alive).
Her work has become so popular, she has her own gallery and online store to commission your own painting.

It’s early morning in the studio and I’m grateful to get an early start on today’s layers on #erniespetportrait. This magestic albeit goofy corgi, german shepherd and malamute mix isn’t doing so well. His parents commissioned me to do his pet memorial so they can start the healing, and process the transition while he’s still with them ❤️
Erika has a whole lot more that she has done. If you want to check it out, click here
