Coffee Is Your Workday Savior…Or Is It?

First off let me preface this with, it is all about caffeine, not just coffee. The survey published by Yahoo Finance, includes tea, energy drinks and soda/pop/cola (depending on where you are from.) Truth is, having caffeine during the day isn’t so bad. After all the average person is taking in about 2 1/2 cups of caffeinated drinks per day.

So, why is this happening? Sad to say, sleep deprivation. On average, people are only getting a little over 6 hours of sleep a night. The caffeine seems to be working, considering people feel that they may be losing 2 days of good work because they are so tired.
