Occupied Lincoln Home Struck In Early Morning Shooting

Licnoln Police Captain Todd Kocian tells KLIN News police were dispatched to the 1300 block of N 25th St around 1:30 a.m.  Monday after multiple residents reported hearing gunshots in the area.

“Officer responded to the area and discovered some spent shell casings in the street,” says Kocian. Police found a residence in the area was struck at least twice.

Kocian says the home was occupied by a sleeping family at the time of the shooting, but no one inside was injured.

He adds it’s not known at this point whether the shooting was targeted.

An investigation is ongoing.
